PORTFOLIO

This is a place for me to showcase some of my most memorable work.

Game Design Challenge - Best Entry

A billion years ago, Game Career Guide had a contest asking for game concepts that were inspired by literature. My idea - a constant-motion platformer based on Edgar Allan Poe's works (complete with terrible clip art) - was deemed the best entry.

Name A Children's Show - I'll Tell You About Its Dark Side

I put up a post on the /r/writingprompts subreddit, asking people to name their favorite children's shows and promising to write stories about their less discussed, darker natures. I delivered, and the audience seemed to enjoy it (writing as /u/_thegrapesoda_).

FLASH! The Big List

On a previous blog a few years back, I challenged myself to write one sci-fi flash fiction piece a week for a year. I got pretty close to that goal. Some of the stories were decent, some were awful, and I love them all. The above links to an index of all the stories I wrote in that series, while below are a few of my favorites.

The Grudge

On Our Shield

Interstellar Playground Game

Guardian

The Dome Above

The Simpsons Episode Every Writer Should Watch

On that same blog, I often wrote about writing (who doesn't love metawriting???). This is one of several posts that I particularly enjoyed.
